Characteristics

My Vintage is the new Vintage range that allows many different laying possibilities and, at the same time, it allows interesting color combinations.

My Vintage is the last evolution of wood floor, considered not only as the floor where you walk on, but mainly as a furnishing and design element that can personalize your home in the best way. It combines with the environment of every room expressing the ideal way of living and interpreting all the different personal tastes in an original way.

With My Vintage it is now possible to build our own home as a new world that resembles us where even the floor matches our character and our style.

My Vintage range is an incessant source of inspiration, full of ideas and suggestions: the perfect range for designers, architects and interior designers as it stimulates everybody's imagination.

Finish
My Vintage is characterized by the exclusive Vintage finish: an oil-effect finish with very open pores that gives an extraordinary natural look and the sensation of always being in contact with the wood. Its microporous surface, the result of years of research has the ability to combine ancient taste for a warm and inviting aesthetics with the most modern living trends.

Flexibility and stability
The extremely flexible support makes it possible to compensate for any slight irregularity in the level of the foundation, while the perfect balance between the thickness of the noble wood and the support ensures maximum stability. No particular sealing treatment operations are, therefore, necessary on site.

Accidental damages
In the event of accidents such as flooding or broken strips, it is possible to replace only the damaged strips.

The Eco-compatibile parquet
Great attention to the environment and people's wellbeing: this is the goal of the My Vintage range, concieved and designed to live with the environment by respecting it.
The My Vintage range's production processes comply with the path that Gazzotti has specifically studied and published in the manual "Vintage Gazzotti: il parquet per la bioedilizia"("Vintage Gazzotti: the parquet for green building").
Gazzotti is in partnership with Green Building Council Italia, whose certification system, connected with the brand Leed(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), establishes the standards for design and production of healthy buldings, energically efficient and with a small envitonmental impact. Also sensitive to the broad issue of energy savings, Gazzotti has established a partnership with Casa Clima, the most important structure in studying and creating houses with low energy needs.

Made in Italy
All the products in the My Vintage Gazzotti range are manufactured in Italy in order to constantly monitor their quality: the wording "Gazzotti made in Italy" is printed underneath each individual strip. A decisive guarantee for the retailer, designer, consumer.

My Vintage Large 10
With more important sizes it allows to join the aesthetics of the bigger strip with the creativity of a personalized and original laying. It is suitable for the rooms that you want to make more precious using particular laying patterns: herringbones, scalette, squares, and any other image that your fantasy wants to create.
All the My Vintage 10 products are available with brushed Vintage finish in the following versions: single length, squares, herringbone, french herringbone.

Where

•It can be laid on concrete screeds from 5 up to 7 cm thick. Concrete screeds are suitable both traditional or quick-drying hydraulic-binder based. They must be compact, solid and flat.

•It can be laid on pre-existing floors which must be compact and properly degreased.

•It can be laid to replace carpets, after taking them off, removing all residual glue and making sure the underfloor is compact enough.

•It can be laid on an existing parquet flooring after sanding only if it is well fixed on the underfloor. The new parquet flooring must be set perpendicularly to the old one.

•To lay it in places with underfloor heating make reference to the product sheet.

How

•It must be always laid by glueing it on the underfloor, preferably with Gazzotti EG ECO glue.

•This product is pre-finished, ready for laying and doesn't need a sealing treatment.

•When laying, residual glue must be removed before it dries by using a clean cloth without solvent or alcohol.

•Only the pre-sanded version needs sanding and varnishing on the premises.

When

•When building or restructuring a house, parquet laying must be the very last operation to be done before furnishing.

•The moister content of the screed and the environmental humidity must strictly meet the requirements

Maintenance

Maintenance should be done simply using a cloth with water or water and Detersave and well wrung. Detersave is the ideal neutral detergent to clean all types of wood floor by Gazzotti. It cleans without leaving any halon, it sanitizes your wood floor and leaves a pleasant perfume in the surrounding environment. In addition it acts as a strong bactericide.

For a correct maintenance of the exclusive micro-porous vintage finish, VintageOil should be used when needed, this is a product made with natural oils that helps to restore the protection layer and to mitigate the effect of scratches and the damages of the upper layer of the floor. VintageOil also has a nourishing effect on the wood.
It is very easy and effective to use this product: after having well shaked the bottle use VintageOil in small quantities and spread it in a uniform way with a cotton cloth creating a slightly wet surface and wait until it becomes dry and matt (15-20 minutes). then clean with a soft cloth in a uniform way or your own polisher with felts.

Be careful: the use of different products for maintenance can cause irrepareble damages to the finish of the wood floor.

Stair Profiles

Made of noble wood with Vintage finish, brushed or not according to floor design. Designed for easy stairs constructions and made from the same elements as the floor.
They are available rounded or square (by previous order; available in 15-20 days).

Thresholds

Extremely useful accessories for matching up slight differences in level of the finished floor. Vintage finish, non-brushed, they are realised to match the floor chatacteristics.

The choice of the most appropriate glue depends on the type of floor chosen and the characteristics of the foundation. Two types of glue are available:
