Characteristics

Wood is the most antique construction material thanks to its positive features for thermal and acoustic insulation and its capacity to furnish the rooms with an exclusive touch. A wood floor is capable to give the environment a particular warmth and personal character.
The same wood strips installed on the floor can easily be applied to the walls producing an enjoyable continuation of the décor. In this way you can give life to a surprising wood panelling in the same design that the floor, which give warmth to the environment and create a unique atmosphere.
All Gazzotti floors can be used for vertical installation: follow the installation instructions.

Installation

Fix Gazzotti multiplex strips (width 80mm, length 1200mm, thickness 6,5mm) to the wall perpendicularly to the wood panelling to be realized. Cover the entire height to be panelled. The multiplex strips need to be glued and plugged to the wall at a distance of 25cm each for wood floors of length up to 60 cm, distance of 35 cm for wood floors up to 90 cm and distance 45 cm for all wood floors longer than 90 cm.
The wood flooring strips are to be installed transversally to the multiplex strips taking care to glue or to nail them onto the multiplex strips. Position a small nail in the tongue of the wood floor. In case your wall has an angle, foresee two contiguous wood flooring strips.
