Wood Species

The fashion range is composed by Oak strips, available in the most charming and modern colors.
Rosewood and Zebrano are made with recomposed wood instead, in order to obtain the best aesthetic.

Installation

Where

•It can be laid on concrete screeds from 5 up to 7 cm thick. Concrete screeds are suitable both traditional or quick-drying hydraulic-binder based. They must be compact, solid and flat.
 
•It can be laid on pre-existing floors which must be compact and properly degreased.
 
•It can be laid to replace carpets, after taking them off, removing all residual glue and making sure the underfloor is compact enough.
 
•It can be laid on an existing parquet flooring after sanding only if it is well fixed on the underfloor. The new parquet flooring must be set perpendicularly to the old one.  

How

•It must be always laid by gluing it on the underfloor, preferably with EG ECO Gazzotti glue.
 
•When laying, residual glue must be removed before it dries by using a clean cloth without solvent or alcohol. 

When

•When building or restructuring a house, parquet laying must be the very last operation to be done before furnishing. 
 
•The moister content of the screed and the environmental humidity must strictly meet the requirements.

Maintenance

Maintenance should be done simply using a cloth with only water or water and Detersave and well wrung.
Detersave is the ideal neutral detergent to clean all types of wood floors by Gazzotti. It cleans without leaving any halon, it sanitizes your wood floor and leaves a pleasant perfume in the surrounding environment. In addition it acts as a strong bactericide.

If necessary, to give your wood floor the original shine, Paquet Light Gazzotti may be added to water. It is a product designed especially for parquet flooring: cleans, protects and brings back the original shine to parquets: it may be used on all types of varnished wood floors.

The use of spirit, solvents, acid or bleach can cause irreparable damage to the varnishing.

Accessories

Skirting Boards

They are designed for the best color match with the parquet flooring. They are available varnished in the following versions:

Stair Profiles

Made of noble wood, already sanded and varnished. Designed for easy stairs constructions and made from the same wood as the floor.They are 14  mm thick.
They are available rounded or square (by previous order; available in 15-20 days).

Thresholds

Extremely useful accessories for matching up slight differences in level of the finished floor, already sanded and varnished, they are made of the same material as the floor.

The choice of the most appropriate glue depends on the type of floor chosen and the characteristics of the foundation. Two types of glue are available:
