Founded in 1910, at the beginning of the last century Gazzotti started to revive the traditional craft of wood flooring.

Gazzotti parquet floors gradually became renowned for the quality of the wood and the skills with which they were processed and finished: Gazzotti became the favourite supplier of the Royal Family and carried out many prestigious installations.

Since that time, technology has become more and more sophisticated: in line with new interior furnishing styles, Gazzotti parquet has embraced new types of wood, new sizes, compositions,  processing and laying technologies. Nevertheless, the heart of the matter, the rigorous attention to quality in the selection of the wood and its processing, has remained unchanged.

The same passion for wood for almost a century. The company has changed its name into Gazzotti S.p.A. and has built a new production facility in Trebbo di Reno near Bologna during the 60s. In 1978 Gazzotti manufactured, for the first time in the world, the revolutionary pre-finished 2-ply engineered flooring. This product has drastically changed the construction techniques of wood flooring.

Gazzotti’s continuous technology developments were aimed to improve constantly product quality, reliability and versatility. Nowadays, more than ever, Gazzotti wood floorings have technically evolved thanks to very modern production facilities and our experience from nearly one century of wood flooring production, so becoming one of the most important players in the quality wood flooring industry.
